It is great to be back home in Singapore after 5 days in Malaysia to celebrate the Lunar New Year with my folks. Finally I put the (very little) effort to try shove in a little AF fine tuning adjustment to my K5 paired with 85mm lens. I’ve always had this feeling that it is back/front focusing a little but couldn’t bothered to fine tune it (until today) and after a few minutes of testing and tweaking … eventually a +2 value for the AF fine tuning seems necessary for this solid old … [ read more ]

Guess I’ve been taking too long a break from updating my blog. I’ve not been shooting much lately and there are a few rolls of unfinished film in few of my cameras. The Lunar New Year is coming in a few days and hopefully during my stay in Malaysia (to spend the New Year with my folks) I am able to get trigger happy again.

In a blink of an eye … Fitzand turned 5 yesterday. Instead of the usual day off on his birthday, he told me that he wanted to celebrate it in school with his friends there and thus we prepared some goodie bags and ordered cake for him to have some good time with his buddies there.

Merry Christmas everyone! It has been raining these couple of days and a cooling Christmas this is, but I’m sure everyone is having lots of fun. Since Christmas this year falls on a Sunday … it will be a super-duper-fun non-working day tomorrow!
