RF Introduction

Written by • Jul 19th, 2010 • Category: Lead Story
For those who are interested in picking up a rangefinder camera or those who are just curious about what a rangefinder is all about, there will be a rangefinder introduction showcase and talk on the 6th August 2010 at the Glass Hall, Singapore Art Museum. I ain’t part of this community (yet) because I ain’t got no rangefinder camera … but just helping a friend spread the word (and poison). 😀 I’m wondering if I can find time to attend it but at the same time … I’m worried about… >> read more

Sat Fun In The Sun

Written by • Jun 26th, 2010 • Category: Lead Story
Things got a little worrying this morning because Fitzand was all ready to go for a picnic with us and after yesterday morning’s super crazy heavy rain … we were really worried it might pour again. Luckily (very!) not a drop of rain was in sight and so we packed our stuffs and went for half a day of fun at the Botanical Gardens. One of the reason why Fitzand wasn’t in the tent most of the time 😀 Cookies!!! Fitzand brought along his new tent, a ball, some sea… >> read more

The 30 Seconds Boogie

Written by • Jan 25th, 2010 • Category: Lead Story
Just the other day, Fitzand was listening to some CD from his Kindermusic class (the kiddos get to groove to the music every Thursday!) and asked me for his sunglasses. Next he grabbed that blanket-like thingie that he wore on the first day he came home from the hospital after being born. Cool. Now the blanket (there should be a right name for that thingie but I’m just too stupid to remember) becomes part of his stage costume. 😀 Well he didn’t perform too long, so I only have this… >> read more

Golden What?

Written by • Jul 22nd, 2009 • Category: Lead Story
Came across this weird looking camera called ‘Goldeneye’ in some online store and thought some of you might be interested to know (or buy?) it. Hardly can find much info about it online though. I guess it’s one of those plastic cameras that looks pretty cute (like the Golden Half) but this is not a half frame camera. From images, it looks pretty sleek with the gold & white theme eh? The gold colored front ‘cover’ seems to flip open to reveal a flash and some cool looking ‘dials’ inside.… >> read more

2 Weekends

Written by • Apr 20th, 2009 • Category: Lead Story
It’s blue blue (damn) blue Monday and I’m updating my blog with some photos from the last two weekends. Friday was a public holiday and after getting some rest, we decided to bring Fitzand to Sentosa for some fun on the beach. It was drizzling despite the sky being bright, so we thought maybe the rain will stop soon and left for Sentosa around 4pm. Unfortunately the rain got heavier and we ended up in Vivo and decided to grab something to eat while waiting for the rain to stop… >> read more

Oh lucky you!

Some of you might know or read my short interview with this Diana camera lover and also a very talented photographer, Annette (else click here). She sent this image of her Scarecrow Man version of the Diana F+ camera. Look closely and you’ll realise her name is printed on the lens! No, they did not make personalized versions of this camera but she also won the personalized Colette version of the Diana F+ camera in the competition, thus she decided to ‘plant’ the lens with her name onto the Scarecrow… >> read more

Packin’ a gun!

Written by • Feb 14th, 2009 • Category: Lead Story
Fitzand’s foolish dad bought him a water gun, thinking that it’s one of those ‘gun’ that produces bubbles. Dammit! Those China packaging with a couple of Chinese characters that I don’t understand, with some cartoon drawings of kids with bubbles made me a clown thinking it was supposed to generate soap bubbles! I went home, loaded it with some soap water and tried hard not to scream the 4-letter-word when I realised that it was just a water gun! 😀 Please forgive my stupidity as I didn’t have such things… >> read more

Safe trip home

Written by • Dec 17th, 2008 • Category: Lead Story
During dinner with some friends, they asked why I only blog about cameras and photography. Why are there no other things I can blog about? Haha! Yeah, I told them that I do not usually have anything (too) interesting to blog about and also I can’t really write. I’ll try to add some other stuffs in my blogging activities in the future but now … here’s one for a start. Picked up the latest CD by Dido after dinner and I must say this new album is just as great… >> read more
