X-Pro1 Dressed Up

After being naked for some time … finally I got my X-Pro1 ‘dressed up’. It took almost 2 weeks for this Funper leather half case to arrive from Hong Kong. There are 101 choices (of half cases) out there but I find this one pretty neat and price is reasonable. Didn’t wanna spend more on a JnK case like the one I have for the X-100, so I placed an order and was told it would take almost 10 days for the factory to make it. Huh? Made on demand?… >> read more

X-100 All Dressed Up

Finally time to post some photos of my X-100 … all ‘dressed up’ and looking pretty. Yeah I know … I know … it ain’t a rangefinder but just a ‘Casio rangefinder’ (a friend calls it that) that tries to look like a retro camera. 😀 Let’s not go there. Parcel From Japan

A parcel arrived from Japan this morning and it in are two very cool items. First is a hand made leather half case specially made for me by my friend Michel (mijonju). It is funny that after he completed this, he told me that the end result looks kinda ‘raw’ compared to those factory made or those expensive professional made ones. Hahaha. He thought of trying to redo one but I stopped him and told him I really love the raw look. Lovely isn’t it? I love the raw look… >> read more
