Finally My Submissions!

Phew! Finally managed to finish a roll for the ’36 In 12′ challenge. Some of you might remember the tragic story of my roll on the day of the challenge … so this one is a re-shoot a couple of days ago. It was a babysitting day as wifey had to go get some stuffs done  and thus you will see many photos of my little boss. Hahaha! I made a mistake of loading a ISO100 film because lighting was bad in some scenes and having to quickly snap a… >> read more

Rocketing In Taiwan : 2

The last roll from the Sprocket Rocket for the trip. As the weather/lighting was pretty crazy/bad, loading a roll of Lomo Xpro 200 slides on the Rocket was a little risky. Fortunately we were in Taichung during that time and the sun was (a little bit) more ‘helpful’. Still there were some ‘forced doubles’ due to bad lighting. Glad most of the shots turned out fine. 😀 I kinda like the doubles in this roll! Fitzand posing with his new soft toy and train … After finish scanning this roll… >> read more

Rocketing In Taiwan : 1

The Lomography’s latest ‘toy’ … the Sprocket Rocket wasn’t one of the product that made me super excited nor did I rush to grab one. Our friendly (not very pocket-friendly though) people from ThirtySix buzzed me and told me that they reserved one for me (!!!) and stocks were in … the week before I flew off to Taiwan for my vacation. So I dropped by the shop, picked up the Sprocket Rocket (darn long name and I’ll just call it Rocket from now on) and decided to bring it… >> read more

The Getaway : The Lomo

No getaway is complete without lugging along an analogue cam. The LC-A+ plus a roll of Lomo Xpro 200 slides were my snapshot buddies during last weekend’s visit to the Universal Studios and here are some random cross-processed shots … This is the first time I’m trying this xpro film and I was expecting lots of yellow and green from it. Surprisingly some of the shots turned out with some other colors still ‘intact’. I kinda realise that my LC-A+ now acts a little weird. Exposures are like all over.… >> read more

… And The Damages

Too tired to go through the photos for the day and update my blog, so I thought I’ll just do a summary of the damage to my wallet instead. We’ll be moving to Disneyland hotel tomorrow, so it will safe from any more temptations. Thanks to Mijonju again for bringing me to all the craziest coolest tempting old film camera shops but I managed to resist temptation from getting one (or more) of them. I did got very tempted … with a Fujica Mini that’s in minty condition but it… >> read more

Random Rubbish

This roll has been sitting in my LC-A+ for quite a while now, and finally I’ve completed it and got it scanned. It is a roll of ISO64 slides that has been expired many years ago. The colors turned out pretty weird and random as you can probably see. As I was scanning these, some ‘evil being’ came along (on MSN messenger) and showed me some of his newly shot photos using some XYZ slides (we’ll talk about that some other day) cross-processed and the results were awesome! That made… >> read more

36 Frames : II [ndroo]

Once bitten twice shy. I remember very clearly the crazy rush to finish the roll of film for the first ’36 Frames’ challenge … because I was too busy and lazy to do it earlier. The roll turned out to be quite a disaster. This time … for the 2nd challenge … I decided to do it earlier but somehow haven’t figured out what to shoot. The same subject over 36 frames? Suddenly it all seemed so difficult. Hahaha. Inspiration came one evening when Fitzand was munching his apple. Eureka!… >> read more

HK + LCA + Xpro

Written by • Apr 26th, 2009 • Category: Fun with film
A roll of Lomo slides fed to my LC-A+ during my recent Hong Kong trip. I’ve been way too lazy to scan them. Haha. I think I might have another roll of negatives from that trip … just gotta go hunt for it in my drawer and scan it. Weather was a little crazy during that trip. One minute it was gloomy and the next … it was bright like crazy. I wasn’t sure if loading that roll of ISO100 film was a good idea on certain occasions when a… >> read more
