Dumpling, Postcards

Written by • Feb 9th, 2010 • Category: Digital stuffs
The postcards … Just remembered a couple days ago that I’ve yet to send in my submission for January’s ‘The Art Of Waiting‘ project. The roll for that month is fermenting in the fridge as I’m typing this and the 2nd roll (for February) is almost done. Ain’t the type who can write much, so you’ll just find some random scribbles on these two DIY postcards that will be popped into the mailbox tomorrow morning … heading to Canada. I can hardly wait (still perfecting the art of waiting :D)… >> read more

Written by • Dec 24th, 2009 • Category: Others
Let me post this blog entry to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year … in case I can’t drag myself to the computer the next few days. Hahaha. It is not that I’ll be having big hangovers tomorrow and the days after … but I’ve got many stuffs to attend to and might not be able to find enough time to blog. MERRY CHRISTMAS & A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR! Since it is just days before the year 2010 comes knocking at our doors, perhaps I… >> read more

The Art Of Waiting

Written by • Dec 4th, 2009 • Category: Others
The lady from accounts department handed me a letter today and I burst into laughter. No … not a letter from my boss saying that I got an increment (something I’ve lost contact with). It was a letter from Canada and on it … it was written ‘The Art Of Waiting’. What’s so funny about that? I was waiting (impatiently) for a parcel to arrive. The parcel is suppose to be a replacement hard disk from Seagate and since I will be on leave for a week from tomorrow …… >> read more

Gakkenflex : Fun!

Written by • Nov 12th, 2009 • Category: Others
Finally got my Gakkenflex assembled and ready to go. It was really fun putting the little parts together but not being able to read Japanese (in the instructions) did make me pause a couple of times to look hard before proceeding. Some of the parts/steps were a little confusing (for me). So I decided to note those down and maybe share with everyone here … in case anyone is interested. 😀 All ready to start … after Fitzand goes to bed 😀 The final product … ready to go! The… >> read more

Long Weekend : Over

Written by • Sep 21st, 2009 • Category: Digital stuffs
Minutes ago I came back to my computer to see a friend who left me a message on my MSN Messenger. It said … ‘Long weekend and you didn’t update your blog? Busy making videos?’. Hahaha! I skipped an appointment this evening so I can concentrate on some stuffs … and now that I’m reminded about my blog … okay … so that got me writing this entry. Since I do not really know how to write a blog entry without some photos, I decided to pick a few random… >> read more

Crushed & Forgotten

Written by • Jun 3rd, 2009 • Category: Digital stuffs
Stepping back in time … back to the year 2007 when I wanted to do a series of photos based on a theme and the theme was ‘CRUSHED’. Well if you see these photos … the theme should be ‘CRUMPLED’ instead but I somehow prefer the word ‘CRUSHED’. Hahaha! Don’t ask why. Anyway … after 3 photos and life got real busy and I somehow conveniently forgot about it until minutes ago when I was cleaning up my hard disk that I found these photos. I am seriously considering picking… >> read more

Thirty Six

Written by • Jun 3rd, 2009 • Category: Others
There are times I feel like making life even harder than it already is. Haha. I recently decided to do a fun ‘project’ with 2 friends by setting 36 different themese/subjects and each of us are supposed to finish taking a roll of 35mm film (36 exposures one of course) and then scan each and every frame of it. Yeah … even those screwed up or under/over exposed ones. Then we will ‘merge’ all the results and see how we individually interpret the themes/subjects. The list of themes/subjects are as… >> read more

Game Over etc.

Written by • May 1st, 2009 • Category: Fun with film
Game Over Took me quite a while to make this decision to finally give up on my Lensbaby Diary project. Life has got much busier and I can’t afford to continue taking a Lensbaby a photo a day. Lugging my DSLR to work is getting to taxing because I’ll need to carry my notebook bag, a camera bag as well as Fitzand’s school back when I pick him up from childcare. It’s pretty sad that I have to abort this project at least for this year. It was fun for… >> read more
