<\/p>\nI almost fainted when I collected this roll from the lab. I mounted the fisheye lens on my Diana F+ camera, and finished a roll of Lomo black & white film … expecting to get full circular fisheye images from it … and … they turned out a bit cropped on all sides! Argh! I do remember placing the 12 exposure mask in the camera … but ended up I still didn’t get the full circle. Now I can’t check if I screwed up by putting in the wrong mask because I have another roll in it … halfway exposed. Duh!<\/p>\n

Anyway, still happy the shots turned out pretty decent (or are they not?!!). The roll of black & while 120 film was from the batch of free ones that came with the Leader camera I purchased recently. One big problem with this film is … you can hardly see the faint numbers printed at the back of the film! I had to squint and look real hard, even in the bright sunlight … just to see which exposure I was on and making sure I don’t over-wind it. Duh!<\/p>\n

Overall, I’m satisfied with the Diana Fisheye lens and the only ‘complain’ I have is that you can’t mount flash on the Diana F+ when you have the fisheye viewfinder attached. The hotshoe adapter is a bit too wide and this prevents it from being able to be fully installed when the viewfinder is on. Someone in Lomography’s design department must have been drinkin’ when they were working on this! Guess I’ll have to practice harder to get more decent shots with the fisheye lens soon.<\/p>\n
