Apart from the risky (but fun) first attempts at using the Sprocket Rocket during my Taiwan trip, I threw in this old Konica AA35 that has been sitting in my cabinet for a long time … with a roll of film that I couldn’t remember loaded … into my backpack. The film counter was pointing at ‘1’ and at that point of time … I realised that this is one of the camera that I’ve never got to start using (or test). Gosh! I sure hope it was working!<\/p>\n

Being a half frame camera, I had 72 frames to fill (at that time I was wondering if it was 48 or 72 … depending on the roll of film loaded) … and so I decided to use it as the ‘super trigger happy camera’ during the trip. I could fire away non stop … randomly … and still have lots of film to burn! Cool!<\/p>\n

Hey the cam has wicked light leaks! Yeah!!!!!!<\/em><\/p>\n

When I finally finished shooting the whole roll, I popped open the back to realise that it was a roll of Fuji Press 400 that has been expired ages ago. Collecting the roll from the lab, I was very pleased to see that the shots seem to turn out pretty okay. Now that will be another camera earning a permanent place in my cabinet then!<\/p>\n

The lens produces some pretty sharp photos eh?<\/em><\/p>\n

I was shooting almost all of these photos with one hand … and the other hand carrying Fitzand (almost) all the time. I somehow ended up having my fat finger making ‘guest appearances’ in some of the photos. Grrrr! My finger must have accidentally appeared in the photos because of the flat (but rather big) design of the camera. If I am not wrong, this AA35 is also called ‘Recorder’ in some of the batches.
