Before you start reading or looking at the images below … please note that I am perfectly fine and my mental state is (maybe) in the ‘normal’ position. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

After I recently ‘blacked out’ all the white prints\/text on my X-Pro1 … I decided to uglify it. Yeah … give it a ‘been through hell’ kind of look. \ud83d\ude00 With a little help from Mr Sandpaper … now it sure looks like it has been through some hell.<\/p>\n

No … I didn’t drag it for a mile or two. I just gave it a small workout with sandpaper and no … I didn’t sandpaper the LCD behind or the lens in front.<\/p>\n

What made me wanna do this to my camera? Ermm … no particular reason. Maybe it is because I’m always hearing\/reading how people wanna dress up their ‘retro looking cameras’ to make them look so cool … I wanted to be uncool instead. \ud83d\ude00 Maybe in a few years time … I can tell Fitzand that I used to shoot using this camera in the Vietnam war. No? Did someone say Gangnam war?<\/p>\n

I dare do this because I have totally no intention to sell off my X-Pro1. It will be one I keep for many years to come (despite the possibility I might get tempted by some X-Pro5 in time to come).<\/p>\n
