No, I didn’t trip and fall nor did I drop the roll of film into a drain nearby. It was worse! After a couple of initial shots, I decided to take a ‘shortcut’ and set the lens to focus at infinity while shooting at a small aperture. Not that there’s anything wrong with that but I totally forgot that the lens is a 50mm one, and I was shooting from the hip (errr … it’s more like from my tummy) and as usual, I love street shooting from close. This means I was shooting from 1 meter or less from my subjects. Not only the photos were out of focus, but they were mostly photos of people’s hips and legs (I swear I ain’t no prevert!)<\/p>\n
The result? Mostly out of focus photos. So out of focus that even a blurred and fuzzy photo fan like me find it unacceptable. Damn!
