That Other Roll

Written by • Dec 12th, 2011 • Category: Fun with film
The first self developed roll of 120 film ended up in quite a mess two days ago and luckily I told myself to not develop that other roll (these 2 were test rolls on the GF670 with Rollei Retro 400 film) that same day. One day later … I took a deep breath and gave it another go … this time telling myself to be a little patient and careful when rolling the film onto the plastic spool. It wasn’t any easier (rolling the film) this second attempt. I ended… >> read more

4 Days Of Fun

Written by • May 2nd, 2011 • Category: Digital stuffs
Since it was a long weekend, I took an additional day off and brought my family for a short stay in Sentosa as we thought flying off for a vacation is a bit too rush (wifey can’t take too many days off). So it was 4 days of fun … doing practically nothing but eating, drinking (yeah!), sleeping and spending lots (and lots) of time on the beach and in the pool. Of course the one who had the most fun was Fitzand who made me play with him in… >> read more

Fun In The Sun

Written by • Apr 10th, 2011 • Category: Digital stuffs
Woke up earlier this morning and brought my family down to the East Coast Park for some fun in the sun. Fitzand as usual … is super excited when he heard that he will get to play in the sand and cycle … so he packed some of this ‘gadgets’ along. Scoop, Muck, Dizzy & Rolley got to join him in on the beach. Lofty had to stay home because according to Fitzand … Lofty can’t do much on the beach. LOL! He buried the sea creatures (toys of course!)… >> read more

Bye Liver, Hello Pool

Written by • Oct 31st, 2010 • Category: Digital stuffs
The weekend is coming to an end (again) and this has gotta be one of the craziest weekend ever. My brother and a friend came visiting (from Kuala Lumpur) and although I welcomed them with open arms … my liver didn’t. These two seems to be the biggest boozers alive that I know! Stay away from these guys if you see them on the streets. They left Singapore at about 5pm and I thought they were heading home … until I got a call an hour later … to say… >> read more

The Getaway

Written by • Sep 5th, 2010 • Category: Digital stuffs
Took 2 days off and brought my family for a short getaway at Sentosa. Checked in a chalet (which doesn’t sell beer!) and had a great time at the Universal Studios Singapore (USS) for two days. Took Fitzand for some fun at the beach (he loves to play there) on the first day and the sunset that evening was beautiful! The next 2 days were spent playing in the USS and despite the fact that I decided not to bring along my Spinner 360 … I was made to spin… >> read more

No Silly! No Rain!

Written by • Aug 1st, 2010 • Category: Digital stuffs
After seeing the beautiful weather yesterday, I promised to bring Fitzand to the beach today but I woke up to find that it was raining cats and dogs and cows and goats! Well it wasn’t that bad already (the rain) after breakfast and we decided to go ahead with the trip to the beach and pray real hard that the sun will come in full blast after lunch. We slacked at the beach bar … munching some pizzas, chicken wings and … ermm … beer … and waited patiently for… >> read more

Pool For Dummies

Written by • Oct 11th, 2009 • Category: Digital stuffs
Fitzand has always been fascinated by pool tables (and balls!) whenever he sees one … usually at the beach bar that we sometimes bring him to. A couple of times we gave him some coins to have a game or two but due to his height and age … hahahaha … all he could do was to push the balls into the pockets with his hands. Today I came across this little pool table and he immediately told me he wanted one. Luckily it costs about S$3.90 and so now… >> read more

Sunny Rehab Fun

Written by • Sep 28th, 2009 • Category: Digital stuffs
A day at the beach is always fun with Fitzand running around, beer flowing like a waterfall and friends to hang around with. Brought Fitzand to the beach in Sentosa yesterday and he brought along his Bob The Builder ‘friends’ to let them scoop some sand and water. Luckily the weather was great and we all had big fun. It was yesterday that those guys from LomotionSG, a local forum for Lomography and other analogue cam fans had their annual Sunny Rehab outing there. Too bad we couldn’t join them… >> read more

Morning Harinezumi

Written by • Sep 19th, 2009 • Category: Digital stuffs
Woke up at 5am to help out a friend in a morning shoot during sunrise and apart from enjoying some cold fresh morning air, coffee and laughter … I toyed with my Digital Harinezumi for a while and got a couple of shots … Fortunately I had a tripod in my car and I could shoot a little bit of video while I was busy doing the important stuffs. It’s kinda funny though. The Harinezumi is so tiny when mounted on the tripod. I didn’t want to use my little… >> read more
