Unmasking Negativity : How?

Written by • Oct 17th, 2011 • Category: Fun with film
‘Unmasking Negativity : The Truth Beneath’ is part of the ‘Impossible Lessons’ exhibition where a handful of people get to showcase and share special ‘tricks’ and experiments done using the Impossible Project films and Spectra cameras. I was pretty lost in the beginning … not knowing what to do and neither had I any experiment in mind. Doing stuffs like double exposures seemed a little too common … so I decided to take a risk (and waste lots of film) and try something different. Perhaps it was just luck that… >> read more

Composer gone Pro!

Yeah … my Lensbaby Composer has gone pro. Received the Pro version of the Composer from Lensbaby yesterday and it answered all my questions before about how different can it be from the normal version. After drawing a Hello Kitty leaving a big ‘X’ on the polling slip for the Presidential Election this morning, we went out for a great breakfast with some friends and then spent some time doing some shopping … and of course for me … some shooting! The Lensbaby’s ‘Get Appy!’ contest results is finally out! After the recent cool ‘gold metal’ skin by Gariz for the Olympus E-P1, along comes a super cute and colorful one that I find very very interesting. A little too cute for an old man like me and if I ever get my E-P1 dressed up like this … it will definitely end up in Fitzand’s hands for good. The same company also has a big time poison which I am very afraid of. It is a tilt-shift adapter for the E-P1/E-P2. The website is in Japanese but I think… >> read more

Diana MPO

The Lomography’s Diana Multi Pinhole Operator is a pinhole camera that allows a selection of 1, 2 or 3 pinholes to create some rather interesting/cool/bizarre photos. Those clever guys topped it with a set of colored ‘filters’ (6 of them to be exact) to let you paint your pinhole photos with crazy wild colours. Sounds like just another over-priced crappy toy from Lomography … some might say. Being a sucker for their Diana F+ camera, I took the plunge and got me one of these rather weird pinhole camera to… >> read more
