Japan In Analogue (Roll 1)

Written by • Nov 22nd, 2012 • Category: Fun with film
Here’s the first roll of film from my vacation last week. I didn’t shoot many rolls as I was too busy entertaining the little one (as usual). If you have seen the video (of him) I posted … you can probably guess how busy I was … being his private videographer. Anyway … here’s a roll of long expired Sensia 400 cross processed. These were shot using my Pentax MZ-S which I lugged along … planning to buy a used lens for it … but ended up not doing so… >> read more

Okay … here it is … the final roll from last weekend’s test run with the ETRsi & 135W back. This time … a roll of Sensia 100 cross processed. It is the first time (if I am not wrong) I’m using this film. Love the red/pink output! 😀 There are a couple of shots wasted in this roll due to my mistake. 🙁 Sometimes I get too excited and forget to switch on the metered prism … sometimes I get too excited and trip the shutter too early while… >> read more

LC-W Going All Over

This must be one of my ‘best travelled’ roll of film. Loaded in my LC-Wide … this 24 exposure roll of Sensia 400 followed me to Malaysia, went on a short shooting trip with me (and cyanwater) to Kampung Buangkok, accompanied me on a beer cum shooting session with Jimmy and then finally to an early dinner at Bottle Tree Village. Amazing how I can make 24 exposures last that long! Honestly … it was because I usually have more than one camera with me and couldn’t concentrate on finishing… >> read more

3 F P S

Couldn’t think of an appropriate title … so I used a very lame one. Yeah. 3 FPS. Not 3 frames per second … but 3 frames per scan. Hahaha! I forced myself to scan this roll from my Pen EE2 and since it was already midnight when I started … I took a shortcut and scanned 3 (of the half frame frames … ermm … is that what you call it?) photos into 1. I haven’t figured out if my scanning software can do batch scans and was desperate to… >> read more

Tokyo 2010 : Analogues 1

Written by • May 1st, 2010 • Category: Fun with film
While I was busy with Fitzand … I somehow was able to squeeze out a few rolls out from my LC-A+. This one is a roll of Sensia III (ISO100) that I bought when I was out shopping with Mijonju. Well I can’t remember if I’ve used Sensia before … so I bought 2 rolls of these to try them out. Got them cross processed and the colors looks pretty neat! Indoor shots seem to have a warmer red color while the outdoor ones look like the usual Sensia colors… >> read more

Japan + Singapore = Chaos

It really took me way too long to finish this roll of Sensia 100 that was sent to me all the way from Japan. It was for a doubles collaboration with Michel Jones (mijonju) but life has been so busy that I neglected it. Haha. To be honest … I’ve yet to even send him my rolls! Argh! Anyway … back to this roll. It was only after I received it that we realised that he forgot to mark on the film on where the first frame is. Uh oh!… >> read more
