Sunny Rehab Fun

Written by • Sep 28th, 2009 • Category: Digital stuffs
A day at the beach is always fun with Fitzand running around, beer flowing like a waterfall and friends to hang around with. Brought Fitzand to the beach in Sentosa yesterday and he brought along his Bob The Builder ‘friends’ to let them scoop some sand and water. Luckily the weather was great and we all had big fun. It was yesterday that those guys from LomotionSG, a local forum for Lomography and other analogue cam fans had their annual Sunny Rehab outing there. Too bad we couldn’t join them… >> read more

Random Rubbish

This roll has been sitting in my LC-A+ for quite a while now, and finally I’ve completed it and got it scanned. It is a roll of ISO64 slides that has been expired many years ago. The colors turned out pretty weird and random as you can probably see. As I was scanning these, some ‘evil being’ came along (on MSN messenger) and showed me some of his newly shot photos using some XYZ slides (we’ll talk about that some other day) cross-processed and the results were awesome! That made… >> read more

E-P1 : How High?

Written by • Aug 3rd, 2009 • Category: Others
I received quite a handful of questions about what I think of the Olympus E-P1 and some requests for sample photos taken at high ISOs with it. Some even asked if I can send them a couple of photos ‘straight out from the camera’. Hmmm. You mean I can’t even brighten the photos or adjust the curves before sending you the samples? Hahaha. Okay. So a couple of you got what you asked for and so far I know one has finally given in to temptation. I won’t be posting… >> read more

Random Fours

The Aryca Actionsampler camera is one of those what I expect to use perhaps less than 5 times a year. Loaded it with a roll of 400 film before my recent trip to Sentosa and ended up having to fill it with some other random shots to finish it before finally sending it to the lab today. I prefer this Actionsampler over the one from Lomography because of the few other shooting modes (eg. 4 identical, 4 separate shots) and thought maybe I should use of more often and just… >> read more

Done Nothing

Monday is here again. Duh! Dah! Damn! What I wanted to do the last two days (weekend!) … 1. Finish shooting 2 rolls of double exposures 2. Finish going through all the photos of Fitzand that I took in Sentosa 3. Clear my big time messy desk in my study room 4. Change the tags/info of some albums in my iPod Touch. Not sure what on earth happened and some of the albums’ artist name turned to ‘Various Artist’. What I managed to do … NOTHING! I didn’t do any… >> read more

From Underwater

A friend who is pretty mad about diving once told me that he has to pay like pretty lots of money to go diving at some exotic spots just to see sharks and stuffs. He showed me some awesome photos from underwater and I went ‘WOW!’. That’s as far as my interest in these marine stuffs goes. I am the type who prefer my (gold bubbly) liquid inside me instead of them surrounding me. Anyway, I had too much beer last weekend and ended up signing up for a diving… >> read more

2 Weekends

Written by • Apr 20th, 2009 • Category: Lead Story
It’s blue blue (damn) blue Monday and I’m updating my blog with some photos from the last two weekends. Friday was a public holiday and after getting some rest, we decided to bring Fitzand to Sentosa for some fun on the beach. It was drizzling despite the sky being bright, so we thought maybe the rain will stop soon and left for Sentosa around 4pm. Unfortunately the rain got heavier and we ended up in Vivo and decided to grab something to eat while waiting for the rain to stop… >> read more
