Diana Returns!

Written by • May 24th, 2012 • Category: Fun with film
Friends found it hard to believe when I told them that I shot only about a roll of 120 on my Diana F+ and maybe 15 frames on my LC-A+ during my recent vacation to Taiwan. It is not that I wasn’t trigger happy but … the *cough cough* truth is … I was spending too much time playing with the X-Pro1. Okay … let’s not talk about the X-Pro1 for now. There were some frames left in a roll that I loaded into my Diana F+ and it was… >> read more

LC-A+ Gone Wide

Written by • May 19th, 2011 • Category: Others
Lomography as usual … got people all excited about a ‘mystery’ product and finally here it is … the Lomo LC-Wide. Seem that the classic LC-A+ has ‘mutated’ into something a lot different … boasting a newly-developed 17mm Minigon Ultra-Wide Angle lens … allows shooting in full frame, square as well as half frame formats. I was wondering what the two red parts are for and after a while … it seems that they are just part of the design. Not some buttons that you can press. Is that right… >> read more

Streets Of Chinatown

Written by • Jan 25th, 2011 • Category: Digital stuffs
While crawling the streets of Chinatown with Fitzand and his teachers + friends this morning … I switched my E-P1 to my favourite mode for streetshooting (grainy black & white) and fired some shots. Every time I got the opportunity to do some street shoot, I’ll keep telling myself that I should do it more often as I somehow love the thrill of getting up close (with a risk) to the subjects and trip the shutter. Maybe I’m sick of living eh? 😀 While I usually don’t bother post processing… >> read more

Square Ones

I tried my best to go through all the photos I took during the weekend in Malaysia but somehow I’m too damn tired to do so. Anyway … here are a handful that I’ve managed to upload to my gallery … All these photos (including the cat ones in the earlier entry) has just gone through very minimal post-processing. I usually brighten the images a little, adjust slightly the levels (for some only) and later resize them for web before applying a little sharpening. Pretty impressed with the black &… >> read more

My Mode III

Written by • Oct 26th, 2009 • Category: Digital stuffs
Just arrived back in Singapore after a 3 days trip to Malaysia to visit my parents. Fitzand had a great time with my folks and was very reluctant to come back but thank God he didn’t kick up a fuss in the car on the way back. Phew. I found a new love during this trip there … shooting black & white photos using my GRD3 in the 1:1 format (aka squares). I’ll be creating a new page/gallery just for this and hopefully I’ll be able to fill it up… >> read more

TTV Photography : DIY

I’m half dead when I’m typing this at around 1am. Forgive me if what you are reading here doesn’t make any sense to you. I only found time to do these a couple of hours ago after Fitzand went to bed. It is usually late at night that I have time on my own to do my own stuffs. Why? Let’s just say I have some very ‘capable’ people in my life. Hahaha. Forget it. I’ve no time to get pissed now. Just like I try avoid people who bore… >> read more

Diana MPO [more]

Here are the remaining two rolls from the Diana Multi Pinhole Camera. To be honest … I thought this might be another camera that might be used a couple of times before being left sleeping on the shelf … but I was wrong. I love this camera! It will definitely be one that will be used pretty often but for the next roll … I’m gonna experiment with more stuffs with it and see how much more fun I can squeeze outta it. A friend asked me if I could… >> read more
