Hot Day. Mothers’ Day!

Written by • May 8th, 2011 • Category: Digital stuffs
Happy Mothers’ day to every mother in the world! It has been a super duper ultra hot day and despite gulping a fair amount of icy cold beer … I am still thinking of (a bit) more now. 😀 Just came back from an early dinner with my family and friends … celebrating Mother’s Day this year at Jerry’s BBQ & Grill … eating … ermm … some not very healthy food (as usual). As we left home a bit earlier, we brought Fitzand to the Animal Resort to let… >> read more

Fun, Cold, Poison : Day 2

This entry again was delayed. I originally wanted to post this last night but unfortunately the free wifi access got cut off right after midnight. Duh! Didn’t get to publish this this morning due to the rush to go out. 😀 Still struggling to learn how to use GIMP, so forgive me if the photos look weird. 😛 I wanted to blog this earlier but decided to drop by the cafe downstairs for more of that yummy Gargery stout … but after a few pints of them, I was told… >> read more

Splashing Weekend

Only took a couple of snapshots because I have this weird ‘phobia’ of taking shots of kids at these fountains. Hahaha. Read about it at the end of this entry. We were at Vivocity yesterday for dinner and he got… >> read more

Hidden in the Mandai Orchid Garden, Singapore … the Vanilla Pod restaurant is one place we’ve always wanted to go but somehow never remember to. I’ve had breakfast there a few times when I was *ahem* into shooting macro and birds (with my now neglected DSLR). This evening, finally I brought my family there for a yummilicious dinner. The specials for the night were the lamb rack and the Yorkshire pork cutlet. Fitzand had chicken nugget with fries. Sorry for the lousy photos because lighting was super horrible and I… >> read more

Infrared With No Camera

Written by • Nov 28th, 2009 • Category: Digital stuffs
I woke up feeling a little sad … thinking that today is Sunday! Phew! Yesterday was a public holiday and that was the reason why I woke up in cold sweat. It is not that I hate Sundays but they are always a bit too close to blue Mondays. Recently … despite the slight drizzle sometimes … the weather is pretty good. A friend buzzed me to join him for a short walk in the park to test out an Infrared converted camera and I rushed there … without my… >> read more
