I was pretty surprised when the postman arrived with a small parcel at my office today. The first thing that I asked myself “Did I buy any new toy?!!!” … and I knew for (damn) sure I didn’t. So what on earth is that suspicious looking box for? Taking a closer look, I then realised that it’s from FourCornerStore. It’s a new online toy camera store run by Nic from the cool toy camera website/blog with the same name. Check out the website/blog here.
Opening up the box gave me another surprise. The packaging! Most online stores I’ve bought from will pack the goodies in simple plain wrappers etc but these stuffs Nic sent me were very nicely packaged. There was pack of 120 films as well as a green toy-like camera with brands like Knorr, Skippy and Lipton on it. Cool!!! The film came in a cute brown paper bag with some pretty retro print (see below) and the camera came in a soft thin cloth bag with the Four Corner Store logo as well as a ‘Limited edition : 12/100’ printed below. This guy is serious!

Guess these are tokens of appreciation for my recent review of the Diana Instant Back contribution to his toy camera blog but I think my review should only deserve a roll of film only. Checking the postal rate … it costs him about US$11 just to send these to me for free. Hmm … he should have just used regular post which maybe is cheaper. Now I feel so bad.
Haha. Hmm … wonder if he’ll send me a Leica if I agree to contribute a review/article every single day for a year. 😛
