Bought my Minox DCC M3 Plus cutie camera from Japan some time ago and thought I should bring it with me more often since the tiny camera can fit even in my shirt pocket. Took me a while to dig out and figure out which battery and charger it uses and ended up charging it using a USB cable attached to my laptop.
As a ‘warm up’, I took these three photos to make sure it is still in healthy condition.
The photo above gave me quite a shock because of the weird sweeping effect on the bottom half of the camera. It can’t possibly be handshake because the top half of the photo looks pretty fine … so what could the Lensbaby-like effect be? Don’t ask me. I don’t know. Eeeeks!
The blue sky on my way to the office carpark …
It has been a while since I’ve used this camera and I still love it lots. Of course you can’t expect results like any other compact cameras and it has pretty crazy purple fringing on some photos and of quality of images is not something you would like to pixel peep … but if you love toy cameras and such … this camera is definitely something you will love. I’ve just tested using the movie recording mode on it and decided that I will start making short movie clips using it. Stay tuned! No … they will not be available in your DVD stores … 😛
Resident kitty at my block
I’ve just came back from meeting up with a friend to collect some rolls of expired negatives to cure my trigger happy habit. Shared an order with him to save shipping cost from the FourCornerStore and got myself some Fujicolor Press … 10 rolls of ISO400 and also 10 rolls of the ISO800 ones. I ended up paying S$3 for each of the roll, so I guess that should be pretty affordable to play with. Time to feed those light-thirsty cameras like the Supersampler!
