About a month (or was it two?) ago … while chatting with a friend about dressing up Holga cameras, she asked if I’d be interested to help her do one as a present for a friend of hers. Finally I remembered to make reservations at Rider’s Cafe and brought my family there early this morning for breakfast. Little Fitzand was jumping with joy to be able to see horses again. We spent quite some time there sitting at the balcony and then took a short stroll around to let Fitzand see the horses. Just hope he won’t ever ask me for one!

I paused for a long while after watching this video someone sent me. Just moments ago, I walked out from Toys ‘R’ Us with a bag of new toys for Fitzand and now … I’m watching these children struggling to stay alive. I felt like a bomb. I felt really sad. Just received a delivery of this colony of disposable cameras and couldn’t resist taking a photo of them. These are actually for a community/charity event that I agreed to sponsor (the cameras only). It’s always a great thing to share the fun of photography with those less fortunate and I hope the event will be a success. Tentatively the event date will be around mid July and I hope I’ll have time to go join and help out during the day itself.
