Leftover T64

Written by • Mar 10th, 2012 • Category: Fun with film
A leftover roll from a recent short outing with Cyanwater. Shot using my Bronica ETRSi with the 135W back … and a roll of Lomography X Tungsten 64 fim … * click on these images for a larger version I’m pretty addicted to using this camera with the 35mm back but today … I decided to whip out my 220 film back and loaded a roll of negatives it in. That’s one of the few rolls of 220 film I have … given to me by the guy who sold… >> read more

Perhaps The Last Post

Written by • Mar 2nd, 2012 • Category: Fun with film
Not sure if I’ll live to see tomorrow after posting some of these images that has the face of an iconic Lomographer here in Singapore. Hehehehe! Hahahaha! She’ll definitely turn up at my door in an hour or so with a chainsaw after seeing these … therefore this might just be my last blog post. Anyway … to prolong my life a little … here are some ‘safer’ photos I took yesterday after an appointment with the dentist. I actually shot a roll of IR black & white film but… >> read more

LC-W Going All Over

Written by • Jul 11th, 2011 • Category: Fun with film
This must be one of my ‘best travelled’ roll of film. Loaded in my LC-Wide … this 24 exposure roll of Sensia 400 followed me to Malaysia, went on a short shooting trip with me (and cyanwater) to Kampung Buangkok, accompanied me on a beer cum shooting session with Jimmy and then finally to an early dinner at Bottle Tree Village. Amazing how I can make 24 exposures last that long! Honestly … it was because I usually have more than one camera with me and couldn’t concentrate on finishing… >> read more

White Rocket, Silver Pancake

Written by • May 22nd, 2011 • Category: Toys
After a recent ‘brave’ attempt at converting my black Sprocket Rocket to gold … I was on the hunt for a replacement and Cindy (from ThirtySix) asked me why not wait a couple more days for the white version to arrive. White? Special white edition? Costs more? Grrr!!! How can I ever say ‘no’ to Queen Cyanwater? 😀 Okay … so I collected it a couple of weeks ago but was too busy to unbox it until tonight. Here are some snapshots of it … As you can see …… >> read more

Blessed PX680

Written by • Apr 10th, 2011 • Category: Fun with film
Met up with an ex-colleague today for a quick beer (which ended up with ermm … quite a lot of beer in quite a little bit of time) and managed to whip out my Polaroid cammie for 2 test shots with a pack of the Impossible Project’s PX680 Color Shade beta test film … courtesy of the famous Cyanwater. Somehow after my several disappointing results (most my fault) with the Impossible film … the first 2 shots from this pack seemed to make me go ‘whoa! yeah!’. I know it… >> read more

Love The Spam!

Written by • Apr 7th, 2011 • Category: Others
Don’t you dare try spam me though. 😀 This is a ‘making of’ video for a ‘Spamera’ … a DIY pinhole camera using an empty Spam can … done by the talented Noreen (aka Miun). She told me about this little project of hers, and she was making this as a birthday present for ‘Queen’ Cyanwater … the famous Lomographer and lady boss of ThirtySix. Noreen did asked if I’d be interested to make one too … and at that time I foolishly told her I’d be interested to try… >> read more

Yeah … Very Funny!

Cindy (aka Cyanwater) from ThirtySix gave Fitzand a Christmas present that he loved lots. It was a disposable camera called ‘LOL CAM’ and he wanted to use it the moment he ripped apart the box (in the car!). I managed to stop him and later taught him how to use it. Luckily his finger was long enough to reach the front to press (and hold) the flash button. I thought that roll of 24 exposure film wouldn’t last an hour … since I decided to just leave it to him… >> read more

Be Very Afraid!

I don’t mean to scare anyone out there but these are some of my test/experimental shots I did just now with my Instax Mini 55i and an Optrixx Camera (given to me by the famous Cyanwater). The Optrixx Camera isn’t really a camera, but rather a traditional optical amusement thingie. Since the Instax camera isn’t the type where you can actually see what the lens ‘sees’, it was a matter of trying out and pray something turns out okay. The Optrixx … a cool present from Auntie Cyanwater 😛 I… >> read more

About Cyanwater

Written by • Oct 20th, 2010 • Category: Someone : About
Cindy aka Cyanwater aka The Queen is no stranger to many of us here (in Singapore) when it comes to the Lomography/toy cam photography scene. She sweeps the prizes whenever she participates in any of the photo contests and not only is she a talented photographer … she runs the Lomography/toy camera shop, ThirtySix with her partner Jimmy. It took a little too long for me to extract these answers from her but it was all my fault for being too busy to funish her the questions. I did so… >> read more
