The ‘Whoa!’ Coke

Written by • Feb 26th, 2011 • Category: Others
Joined some friends for Indian food today and being a curious (fat) cat … I tried something that made me go ‘WHOA!!!’. You’ll read about it a little later down this entry … and meanwhile I’ll bore you with a couple of snapshots I took of some of the food. 😛 Some buttered rice with tandoori chicken. Pretty good but the green mint (sour!) sauce makes my eyes roll. Kids meal … naan bread with some buttered chicken. Okay … here comes the reason why I’m adding this blog entry.… >> read more

Let’s Get Fat

It is already the 5th day since I landed here in Taiwan for a year-end break. Gosh. How time flies. Come Sunday and I’ll have to get my fat butt back in Singapore … and the next day … to W . O . R . K !!!!!!!! Strange but true … I wasn’t really in the mood to take much photo since the day I landed. Not only with my analogue cams … but also digital ones. I ended up shooting more short video clips instead. Hahaha! The last… >> read more

Bye Liver, Hello Pool

Written by • Oct 31st, 2010 • Category: Digital stuffs
The weekend is coming to an end (again) and this has gotta be one of the craziest weekend ever. My brother and a friend came visiting (from Kuala Lumpur) and although I welcomed them with open arms … my liver didn’t. These two seems to be the biggest boozers alive that I know! Stay away from these guys if you see them on the streets. They left Singapore at about 5pm and I thought they were heading home … until I got a call an hour later … to say… >> read more

Re-loving Black & White

A roll of Neopan 1600 was stuck in my good ol’ Nikon FA for the longest time. After scanning these shots, I realised that some of them were from a long time back … when I was having some pints of icy cold Guinness at an Irish bar during the afternoon (yeah … it felt like a blackout when I stepped outta the pub). I left that roll fermenting in the camera until lately when I bought the pancake Nikon 45mm f2.8P lens and wanted to test drive it. These… >> read more

It Starts With A Can

Written by • Apr 8th, 2010 • Category: Others
These are probably the strangest things that arrived at my home today while I was at work … Nah! I didn’t order Red Bull by the tons (although I do need tons of beer). These empty cans arrived today because I signed up for the Art Of Can event (details here) and was supposed to go collect these empty cans from their office … but somehow I just didn’t wanna take time off from work just to go get them. Yeah … collection was during office hours only. Fortunately I… >> read more

Camera Away!

Another weekend came and is almost gone. Spent some time this weekend planning and doing some test shots for my personal photo project and of course most of the time went into quality time with my family. I didn’t shoot much this weekend (except for the test shots) but next weekend will probably see some action put into my photo project. Brought Fitzand to the park nearby for breakfast, followed by a cycling session (with me running after him!) before heading home before noon. My brother from Malaysia (in Kuala… >> read more

Harinezumi 2 : Macro Megamix

Written by • Dec 13th, 2009 • Category: Digital stuffs
Came back from a week-long trip to Malaysia last night. Spent 5 days in Kuala Lumpur before heading down to Johor to visit my parents for the next few days. Those days in Kuala Lumpur were crazy. Just too busy eating, drinking and some shopping. I didn’t really shoot much photos except some snapshots of Fitzand and a few random snaps of food that added inches to my (already big) waist. I’ll blog about that later. I’m too darn tired. Didn’t get enough sleep nor rest during the whole week… >> read more

What Elephant?

Ever done or said something you thought was okay but later realise that you might have started a nuclear war? Well I’ve done so one too many times. Here is one I can’t help but laugh every time I think of it. It happened a couple of weeks ago at 15 Minutes cafe located at the LaSalle College Of The Arts here in Singapore. That evening, I was having dinner and beer with my family and friends and we were seated comfortably somewhere in front of the bar counter. Fitzand… >> read more
