The metal editions of the La Sardina proved too tempting and I picked both of them up from ThirtySix this afternoon. While I was still waiting for a good offer to buy my liver so that I could afford the 2 metal editions of the La Sardina, I thought I might have to let go my lungs too when I saw that there are 4 new special editions of the camera. If I remember correctly, not too long ago … there was some article in Lomography’s website saying that the Diana F+ clones were to come to an end … and that somehow also meant an end to the burning of my wallet to collect the clones … but out of a sudden came a new one (!!!) that looks clean, neat and ermm … cool. Ever since Pentax announced that their K-x DSLR will come in a variation of colors, I’ve always respected them for ‘having the balls’ to break away from the norm (black! black! black!). I got tempted with a couple of the color schemes but ended up with an all white one.
