Some friends once told me that if they see me whipping out my camera during meals … trying to photograph the food … that will mean that I’m getting restless, bored or simply need to go burn some rolls of film (ASAP). The recent couple of months has been pretty super sucky at work and thus I’ve not much mood to shoot much. 🙁 Damn. I’m mentally super tired from all that stuff and luckily in exactly a week from now … I’ll be on a plane for a week… >> read more

A lazy rainy Sunday. We had friends coming over for dinner and so around 4pm, we started to prepare some stuffs to cook and since Fitzand didn’t wanna take his nap (too excited knowing his favourite uncle was coming over) … we engaged his services to help cut some of the vegetables and such. While he was doing that (while being watched very closely by my fuzzy eyeballs), I decided to video him in action. Sorry for the lousy lighting because Mr. Sunlight wasn’t working very hard today and I… >> read more

Almost the end of a great Saturday! After meeting up with some friends to arrange for a short getaway next month, we dropped by to check out a cool exhibition titled FACES by Miun (aka Noreen) at The Little Dorm store. We were supposed to be there at 3pm but the little one fell asleep in the car and I had to wait for him while he enjoy his nap in the carpark. We arrived at the exhibition at 4pm and was told that it closes at 430pm! Phew! Glad… >> read more

Cut And Type Day

Written by • Sep 11th, 2010 • Category: Digital stuffs
It is a public holiday today but the weather was pretty yucky for any outdoor activities and thus we decided to spend the day at home … slacking, playing and doing (almost) nothing. I decided to cook something simple for dinner and ‘hired’ a little assistant … and took some snapshots of him at work. It was simple spirals with mushroom, bacon and eggs (specially added for Fitzand) for dinner. I had to keep an eye on this assistant of mine as I knew I might realise there ain’t nothing… >> read more

Another Digital Weekend

If you are wondering why I’ve not been posting much (or any) photos from my analogue cams … hahahaha …. no … I’ve not given up or retired (yet). It is just that I loaded one too many cameras with film and now struggling to complete them. I’ve been rotating between the cameras to make sure I treat them all equally and thus the long wait. So while waiting for the rolls to be completed, I’m taking some digital snapshots … of course 99.99% of the time … the subject… >> read more

Was out with my family to Clarke Quay area for late lunch and thought maybe we should slack there until dinner time so that Fitzand can have some outdoor fun there … watching the boats and running around. We had some yummy Japanese food (ramen!) there and then while wifey went for some shopping … Fitzand and I loitered around and of course I tried to take some photos of him to cure my trigger-happy fingers. Played with my Spinner for a while but ended up shooting digital with the… >> read more

Rainy Frisbee Day

Written by • Jul 18th, 2010 • Category: Digital stuffs
Brought Fitzand out to the park in the morning to play with his new frisbee but after last night’s heavy downpour, it still started to drizzle after about half an hour of fun. Grrr! We had to cut short the session and though we could continue after breakfast but too bad the sky wasn’t in a good mood. Duh. He was all excited going to the park to play frisbee for the 1st time! It wasn’t at all easy trying to catch some snapshots of him in action … as… >> read more

Sat Fun In The Sun

Things got a little worrying this morning because Fitzand was all ready to go for a picnic with us and after yesterday morning’s super crazy heavy rain … we were really worried it might pour again. Luckily (very!) not a drop of rain was in sight and so we packed our stuffs and went for half a day of fun at the Botanical Gardens. One of the reason why Fitzand wasn’t in the tent most of the time 😀 Cookies!!! Fitzand brought along his new tent, a ball, some sea… >> read more

Polaroid Re-Love

My poor Spinner 360 cammie has yet to churn out her first roll and the weekend came and went (again). There were just too many things to do and too little time left. It was Father’s Day yesterday but to me … it was just another Sunday … with almost all the time spent playing with my little Energizer lithium ion powered kiddo. 😀 When I was putting on the new ‘skin’ for my SX-70 the other day, I realised that I’ve got a pack of new film and also… >> read more
