It has been a while since I’ve updated my blog and since Fitzand went to bed very early today (2 sessions of skating lessons did the trick!) … I dug out few photos I took some weeks back (before the Lunar New Year) from my window … of the sunset. I’m one who prefers the sunrise (despite the crazy pain of waking up real early) but it doesn’t matter … it is still the same sun that’s gonna rise the next morning.

There are just so many things I wanna do after arriving back here (at 5am!!!) … sending some rolls to the lab, testing the XF 18-55 lens on my X-Pro1, self-developing a few rolls of black & white film that I used to test the GR21, finish updating my blog layout and of course getting myself some good sleep.

After some months of ‘rest’, my Fujifilm GF670 got to go out for some fun again. This roll of long expired Fujifilm Pro 160s had a few exposures … ermm … exposed … and I was trying to finish shooting it. I am beginning to think that I should shoot only 120 film as I have way too little time for photography nowdays.

AB Version? Yeah … AB = All Black!
After giving a steriod shot to my X-Pro1 yesterday … in the form a version 2.0 firmware update from Fujifilm … I’m loving the camera even more. Frankly in the past (before the update), although the autofocusing is a little on the slow side … it wasn’t really a problem to me. Fitzand’s didn’t have to attend class today and so I took a day off to babysit him. A trip to the zoo yesterday morning gave me the opportunity to give the Fujifilm X-S1 a test drive. Not one who usually use (or see the need) of a tele lens … I found myself struggling to find subjects to shoot just to test out the camera. The zoo outing was a perfect opportunity to zoom in close to the animals!

Yup … Take away the ’00′ from the X100 and now it is X1. The Leica X1! Traded my Fujifilm X100 with a friend’s very minty condition X1 … just to have a feel of it (despite knowing the slower AF and lack of video function). It has been years since I’ve used a Leica digital camera. The last one was the Digilux 2 which I love and it was a great cam in those old days.
