After a recent ‘brave’ attempt at converting my black Sprocket Rocket to gold … I was on the hunt for a replacement and Cindy (from ThirtySix) asked me why not wait a couple more days for the white version to arrive. The white Pentax K-x finally left me after a year or so. The good thing is since I bought it at a great price in Tokyo … selling it off at a very very minimal loss today didn’t hurt a bit. What originally supposed to be a DSLR body to be used with my Lensbabies … ended up doubling as a camera I photograph Fitzand with. Fitzand jumped out of bed (early!) this morning and asked me ‘Today is Saturday? Going Disney On Ice?’. The postman came knocking today and handed me a parcel from Japan. Yeah … I was pretty excited to receive it because in it … the white edition of the Fujifilm Natura Classica! Things got a little worrying this morning because Fitzand was all ready to go for a picnic with us and after yesterday morning’s super crazy heavy rain … we were really worried it might pour again. “OMG” appearing on MSN Messenger is something I don’t like to see too often … especially when it comes from Mijonju (yeah … the devil again!). This is what he showed me … Yeah! OMG! Rainbow Huh?

Ever since Pentax announced that their K-x DSLR will come in a variation of colors, I’ve always respected them for ‘having the balls’ to break away from the norm (black! black! black!). I got tempted with a couple of the color schemes but ended up with an all white one. Pentax Japan just announced a limited edition ‘Rainbow K-x’ and will only be available for sale on Tower Record’s Japan website. It costs 74,800 Yen and is limited to only 1000 pieces. Some of you might have heard of Crystal Roc or seen some of those bling bling headphones and cool gadgets from them. Not long ago, I realised that they’ve done the same to the Olympus E-P1 camera! My heart was beating fast when I read about this limited edition Ricoh GRDIII camera … for Stussy‘s 30th anniversary.
