iPhone Poison Again!

Written by • Dec 21st, 2011 • Category: Others
Let me start by saying (again) that I ain’t no Apple hater. I use an Android phone & tablet yet I am using Apple products for my desktop and notebook. The only one thing I don’t seem to wanna get from Apple is the iPhone. However … every now and then something comes along and makes me go ‘hmm … maybe I should get one!’. This is one of them … Neat stuff eh? The Gizmon iCA seems to be some attachment that turns an iPhone into ermm … a… >> read more

DigitaLIZA : First Look

Written by • Jul 15th, 2010 • Category: Others
Finally a solution for those of us who like scanning photos which has the sprocket holes areas exposed! The DigitaLIZA from Lomography. The solution came just in time … as the new fun Spinner 360 churns out super long frames with exposed sprocket holes that make scanning and stitching the frames a really painful process (especially for people like me who has not much patience sitting in front of the computer doing post processing). I was expecting a delay in the shipment of mine because Lomo Asia’s online store stated… >> read more

Award & Skins

‘You are #1!!!’ … that’s what Fitzand told me when I asked what this (pic below) thingie he made for me at the childcare was for. Well I know it is for Father’s Day and I was just testing him … but he kept saying (loudly!) … ‘You are #1!!!’. The funny thing was that we were having dinner outside and that caused people from the other tables to look over. Embarassing! Hahaha! I don’t need to be #1 as long as we are happy … although I sure do… >> read more

Poisons Return

Written by • Jun 17th, 2010 • Category: Others
There’s no stopping them! While we are trying hard to save our hard-earned money for some better purposes … here comes more ‘toys’ to make you reach for the hammer and creep towards the piggy bank. This seems to be a ‘Rip Curl Fisheye2’ but info about it ain’t available yet in Lomography’s website. It isn’t available in their online store (yet) as I’m typing this. Now it seems every camera is getting the candy-colored makeover eh? Came across this photo above in Facebook and I think they are suppose… >> read more

Entry With A Disclaimer

Disclaimer Fuzzyeyeballs/ndroo accepts no liability for the consequences of reading this blog entry, be it a total loss of your savings in the bank, getting dumped by spouses for overspending or intentional sale of limbs/body parts due to equipment lust caused by the mentioned person/website/blog etc. I’ve always wanted to create this blog entry but somehow it just keep slipping off my mind. Not sure if it is because I did not want to cause a widespread of this equipment lust disease or was my old brain not working well… >> read more

Red Hot In Pink?

Written by • Jan 27th, 2010 • Category: Others
After the Diana F+ got a pink coat of paint and a weird name like ‘Mr. Pink’, next in line is the Fisheye 2. Lomography decided that it is time to turn this cool fisheye camera into a ‘Miss Pinky’ (not the name they call it though) … just in time for Valentine’s day. Guess lots of guys will be getting this sexy camera for their girlfriends and wives eh? Nah … not me. My wife will say that it’s just an excuse to get it for myself. 😛 We… >> read more

New Cute Digital Toy!

Written by • Jan 19th, 2010 • Category: Toys
Cashing in on the toy camera craze, there seems to be more small/tiny cameras appearing in the scene. So far … I think the Digital Harinezumi has done pretty well compared to the rest. The pretty new kids on the block are some very small sized cameras with a boring name … “FDC01”. They come in either blue or red (looks more like pink to me) … and like the VistaQuest cameras … they are supposed to be ‘keychain cameras’. I was told that it is called the ‘SQ28m’ in… >> read more

About Mijonju

Written by • Jan 15th, 2010 • Category: Someone : About
Michel aka Mijonju is a very interesting friend I got to know (strangely) through some Olympus E-P1 forum. His is a big crazy camera lover and of course from there, we got to be pretty good friends and did some double exposure collaborations together. I’m hoping we can meet up soon in Japan when I’m on vacation … but I’ve gotta make sure he doesn’t bring me camera shopping! Anyway, he is the featured person in this round of ‘About Someone’ entry. It is very interesting (and funny) to… >> read more

Toys R Them!

Written by • Dec 31st, 2009 • Category: Others
Since I can’t sleep and waiting to try shoot the New Year eve fireworks at midnight … I thought I’ll just add the (really) last entry for the year. I love doing online shopping and happened to come across this local web store that specializes in toys (for kids … not the usual ‘toys’ (aka cameras) I buy for myself) called Lamkins. I contacted them not too long ago … looking for a Thomas & Friends character toy because I couldn’t find it in a couple of Toys R Us… >> read more

BBF, Eat This!

Written by • Nov 9th, 2009 • Category: Toys
If you’ve tried using the Blackbird, Fly camera, you probably find that the images ain’t as ‘toy-like’ as you thought/hope they’ll be. Right? Well that’s how I find it and also feedback from some friends. I own a few of them but they have been sitting on my shelf as deco pieces instead of getting put to good use. Duh! Anyway … recently there is this Japanese magazine that once brought us the Gakken stereo pinhole camera … and now this volume comes with a plastic TLR! Cool! At first… >> read more
