It has been great fun doing the 2nd 36 Frames challenge and finally the judges has given their ratings … and we have a winner! The winning set of photos is by Chen Qiao Zhi who shot these using a Blackbird, Fly camera with a roll of Kodak GC400 film. Congratulations!
Qiao Zhi, our sponsor will contact you soon about the prize. Congrats again. Now you’ll have to go buy those two ‘models’ of yours a dinner. 😀
Personally, I’ve always find using the Blackbird, Fly camera quite a challenge and seeing how he was able to even frame these photos to make up a ‘larger’ image … I’m impressed. I am sure the judges feel that way too. To be able to execute such a fun idea properly isn’t that easy as it seems.
This set of photos almost couldn’t make it to win the challenge. Really. Hahaha. Why? Because I originally couldn’t figure out how on earth I could sort the images by filename … and thus all the individual photos were scattered all over. The judges would have went ‘WTH is this??!!’. Hahaha. Okay … I claim credit for figuring out how to sort them … eventually. 😀
Overall, I find most of the submissions for this challenge pretty interesting. I have my personal favorite set from the submissions but since I ain’t part of the judging team … I’ll just keep my mouth shut. Hahaha!
Thank you all for the fun and looking forward to a next one in the near future. Special thanks to the judges … Cindy, Zann and Nic too.
Cheers!
