Tried very hard to take some test shots with the SLR Magic’s Pinhole (paired with my good ol’ E-P1) today when out with my family. Luckily I had some time out in the sun and managed to squeeze out 10 test shots. You might notice some dust (quite a lot of them!) spots on the photos … as I was too lazy to clone out all of them.

Finally home from a short trip to Malaysia. Quite some time back, a friend sent me a link about backing a new product, a pinhole cap for the Micro 4/3 cameras … and after some consideration … I killed some money in my PayPal account and waited (not very) patiently. What we did was pledge a certain amount of money … and if they hit the required amount, they’ll start producing it. This new toy arrived at my desk … just a day after I placed an order (from Hong Kong). Super fast! The Toy Lens from SLR Magic … a lens that a blog reader/friend … ‘poisoned’ me with recently. You know who you are?!!!
With a focal length of 26mm (which equals a 52mm on M4/3) … this little lens sure sounds fun! So how does it perform (or in toy lens/cam lovers’ perspective … ‘not perform’)?

The childcare center organized a short outing to Chinatown this morning and I accompanied Fitzand there. Honestly I was a little worried because the last time I was there (one evening many years ago), the crowd was scary and I almost fainted after 10 minutes.
